Partners Walid El Nabal and Edoardo Zucchelli Spoke at LIA Transformation Programme

The Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) hosted an annual meeting to review the progress and achievements of its strategic initiatives supported by different firms, including Curtis. This took place in Istanbul on 21 November, 2022.

Curtis partners Walid El Nabal and Edoardo Zucchelli attended the conference, along with Project Manager Tim Moore, as part of Curtis’ strong engagement with the LIA. The presentation comprised of an overview of LIA’s legitimacy and asset protection initiatives, and the objectives of sanctions regulations. It discusses the challenges which LIA has faced since 2011, the different initiatives they have delivered, the benefits and impacts of those initiatives, as well as a number of future recommendations.
