New York-based Private Client and Trusts and Estates partner Michael S. Schwartz will speak at the 55th Annual Hawaii Tax Institute on Sunday, November 4, 2018 and again on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
Mr. Schwartz’s first presentation, entitled “The Anatomy of a Trust and the Fundamentals of Trust Administration” will be an in-depth seminar on trust planning and administration. His second presentation, entitled "International Wealth Transfer Tax Planning after the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act," will address common estate planning considerations in the international context, and will also review many of the recent developments in this area, including planning in light of the recent tax reform. These follow his presentations at the 54th Annual and 53rd Annual summits.
