The Burton Awards to honor George Kahale with 2019 Distinguished Legal Writing Award

The Burton Awards has selected Curtis chairman George Kahale as a winner of its 2019 Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award for his article, “Rethinking ISDS,” which was published by Transnational Dispute Management in February 2018. This is the second time Mr. Kahale has won the Distinguished Legal Writing Award, having been honored in 2013 for his article, “Is Investor-State Arbitration Broken?

The Burton Awards, which celebrate their 20th Anniversary this year, honor the finest accomplishments in law, including writing, reform, public service and interest, regulatory innovation and lifetime achievements in the profession. They are run in association with the Library of Congress, presented by lead sponsor Law360, and co-sponsored by the American Bar Association.
