Mr. Malas advises sovereign States on their rights and obligations under international law and represents them in disputes before international tribunals. Natively bilingual in English and Arabic, Mr. Malas conducts written and oral advocacy in both languages. His practice frequently involves Arab legal systems, as well as parties and matters connected to the Middle East.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Malas worked as a consultant to a former Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on public–private partnerships and policy development and as a diplomatic trainee at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
