Antonio M. Prida speaks at 2017 U.S.-Mexico Bar Association Conference

Mexico City-based partner Antonio M. Prida spoke on mediation at the 23rd Annual U.S.-Mexico Bar Conference, entitled “Updating the U.S.-Mexico Partnership: Where to go from here?” The conference was held in San Diego from September 27-29, 2017.

Mr. Prida’s presentation, “Settling in Mexico: The New Mexican Mediation Law,” discussed alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in Mexico, the forthcoming Project of Decree through which legislation on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms will be issued in Mexico, amendments to the commercial code on commercial conciliation, and potential controversial issues.
