Curtis attorneys will teach sessions at the International Law Institute's Training Program

Partner Claudia Frutos-Peterson and Associate Marat Umerov will give presentations on arbitration rules and governing law in investor-state arbitration to a group of government officials attending the International Law Institute (ILI)'s annual course on 'International Investment Agreements and Investor-State Arbitration,' on December 1, 2015. The participants come from the following governments: Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, the Philippines, Tanzania, Sierra Leon, and Uganda.

Counsel Borzu Sabahi will then give a presentation on valuation of damages to the same group of government officials on December 10, 2015. The ILI is a non-profit organization, which for 60 years has trained government officials on a variety of subjects including international arbitration. Mr. Sabahi is Co-Director of the ILI Investment Law Center.
