Curtis Environmental Chair Charles Howland to Speak on Incentives for Locally Sourced Solar and Microgrid Projects in the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act

Beginning on May 2, Partner and Environmental Chair Charles Howland will be one of several instructors for a new, online training course that will help jumpstart locally sourced solar and microgrid projects in communities across the U.S. The Center for Strategic Policy has partnered with Arizona State University’s Laboratory for Energy and Power Solutions to help build expertise to develop locally sourced solar and microgrid projects, especially among cities, counties, and NGOs. The course is a first-of-its-kind nationwide training program on how to leverage the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s REopt and SAM clean energy tools.
