George Kahale and Salah Malas host seminar on ISDS for Ethiopia

On 5 December 2022, Curtis hosted a seminar titled, “Navigating the Troubled Waters of ISDS” for government lawyers of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The lecture, which was given by Curtis Chairman George Kahale III and featured an introduction by Curtis Associate Salah Malas, focused on the ISDS-related challenges faced by states and how to navigate those challenges. Attendees from the Ethiopian Ministry of Revenues, Ethiopian Customs Commission, Ministry of Justice, Federal Tax Appeal Commission, Financial Intelligence Agency, Intellectual Properties Office, Addis Ababa City Administration Revenues Authority, Ethiopian Embassy in London, Ethiopian Investment Commission, and the National Bank of Ethiopia were present at the event.
