Curtis Partner Bob Sheehan and Counsel Michael Schwartz author new edition of leading Estate Planning Textbook

We are pleased to announce that Curtis attorneys Robert W. Sheehan and Michael S. Schwartz have authored the just-published 14th edition of the Practicing Law Institute's renowned Stocker on Drawing Wills and Trusts, focusing on the latest changes and concerns in estate planning. Stocker has been a staple in the libraries of attorneys and estate planners for more than 50 years as a vital planning tool for crafting wills, trusts and other estate planning documents.

In conjunction with the book's publication, Mr. Sheehan and Mr. Schwartz will host a special live webinar, “Estate Planning: Avoiding Common Pitfalls,” covering many of the book’s key updates on Thursday November 12 from 1:00-2:00 pm EST. We invite you to join them by registering through PLI. The webinar will also be available on demand via PLI for one year.

Mr. Sheehan and Mr. Schwartz, in both the new edition of Stocker and their upcoming webinar, will lean on their many years of high level experience as trusts and estates lawyers to provide field-tested drafting guidance that enables wills, trusts and other estate planning documents to fully express clients’ wishes without provoking costly legal challenges.

The new 14th edition of Stocker is also enhanced by hundreds of labor-saving sample forms and clauses, giving practitioners the necessary tools to help clients capitalize on a wide range of tax-saving and non-tax opportunities.

You may purchase the 14th edition of Stocker through PLI.

We also encourage you to contact Bob or Michael directly at Curtis Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle to discuss any matters of interest.
