Environmental Chair Charles Howland to Speak on Joint U.S. ITA/Milken Institute Webinar Workshop Addressing How to Leverage Capital to Build Microgrids as Resilient Infrastructure Projects

On June 15, 2020, Environmental Chair Charlie Howland will co-present a workshop entitled, “Leveraging Capital to Build Resilient Local Economies – Project Pipeline Development.” Joined by Kevin Daehnke, President of the Center for Strategic Policy Innovation, Mr. Howland will speak on “Renewable Energy Microgrids: Resilience As A Business Model.” The workshop is jointly sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce International Trade Administration’s SelectUSA program and the Milken Institute. This program was originally scheduled to be part of SelectUSA’s annual Investment Summit, now postponed until next year, with some select content being offered in webinars. SelectUSA promotes foreign investment in the United States by bringing together global companies and U.S. economic development organizations.
