New York-based partner Michael S. Schwartz will speak at the 53rd Annual Hawaii Tax Institute conference, organized by the Hawaii Tax Institute Foundation and Chaminade University of Honolulu, and taking place November 6-10 in Honolulu.
Mr. Schwartz will participate on a panel entitled “Financial, Income Tax and Estate Planning for Retirement Plan Participants, Individual Retirement Account Owners, and Their Beneficiaries,” as part of the conference’s fiduciary track. He will be joined by co-presenters Michael J. Jones, CPA at Thompson Jones LLP; and Michael T. Meltzer, Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management, in an in-depth discussion of retirement investment strategies, income tax management, compliance with required minimum distributions, and other important information for estate planning.
