Partner Simon Batifort and associate Andrew Larkin will present their forthcoming article, “The Meaning of Silence in Investment Treaties,” at the Research Forum of the Midyear Meeting of the American Society of International Law (ASIL), on Friday, October 30. The article discusses the various approaches adopted by arbitral tribunals in interpreting areas of silence in investment treaties on a broad range of issues.
