Peter Wolrich, Partner (Paris) and chair of the ICC commission on arbitration was quoted in Global Arbitration Review regarding the commission's meeting on revisions to ICC rules.

Among the themes discussed at the meeting were reducing the time and cost of ICC arbitration and improve efficiency; making the rules reflect court practice regarding multi-party and multi-contract arbitration (for example, through new provisions on joinder of parties and consolidation of cases); “filling in gaps” such as the current lack of express direction on withdrawing claims and to resolve problems currently experienced by the courts.
