New York partner Simon Batifort will speak at the ITA-IEL-ICC Joint Conference on International Energy Arbitration, hosted virtually by the Center for American and International Law on January 22, 2021. Mr. Batifort will take part in a “Debate on the Energy Charter Treaty Modernisation,” exploring issues of “treaty shopping” through corporate structuring and the applicability of the Energy Charter Treaty in intra-EU disputes.
