Uganda Tax Arbitration

The Daily Monitor of Uganda reported today on the victory of the Government of Uganda in the widely-followed Heritage tax arbitration, in which the firm successfully defended Uganda. All claims against Uganda were dismissed and over $4 million of costs incurred in connection with the case were awarded to Uganda. The newspaper quoted a representative of the Uganda Revenue Authority praising the URA, government team and Curtis for their 'unbreakable spirit and professionalism.'
