London, April 11, 2011 - Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP has announced that Winta R. Jarvis has joined the international law firm as a partner in its Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital practice groups. He will be based in the firm's London office.
Mr. Jarvis comes to Curtis from Goldman Sachs, where he was Executive Director and Counsel, advising key principal investment areas, internal hedge funds and private equity funds of Goldman Sachs in Europe.

Mr. Jarvis has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and executing M&A, private equity and venture capital deals, joint ventures and co-investments in Europe and has advised a number of leading private equity firms, investment banks and corporations across a wide range of industry sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, commodities and real estate.
Mr. Jarvis has previous law firm experience with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and Slaughter and May in London. He earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Magdalen College, Oxford, where he was also an Exhibitioner Scholar. He is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
Curtis recently added three other experienced attorneys (David Hesse (partner), Peter Stewart (partner) and Colby Jenkins (senior associate)) to its London office from other Curtis offices and has moved to new premises in London's financial district at 99 Gresham Street.
