Antonio M. Prida appointed Chairman of the Mexican Mediation institute (IMM)

Founding Partner of the Curtis’ Mexico City office, Antonio M. Prida, has taken office as Chairman of the Mexican Mediation Institute (IMM). This institute was created in 2001 by a group of law firms based in Mexico with the initial purpose of promoting mediation as an effective alternative dispute resolution mechanism in the country. This objective has evolved over time to mainly include the discussion and analysis of topics of interest and current affairs of its member firms. Today, the IMM is integrated by more than 50 of the most prestigious law firms, both Mexican and international. Mr. Prida will chair the institution during 2025 and 2026, hosting monthly meetings with national and international guest speakers whose insights will aid IMM’s members in defining strategies to improve the Mexican legal practice.

Silvia Favela, associate in Curtis Mexico City office, will perform as Secretary of the IMM.
