Curtis was honored at the 10th Annual M&A Advisor Awards, which recognize the top M&A professionals. The M&A Advisor chose the acquisition of Marquis Jet Holdings, Inc. by NetJets Inc. as the Upper Middle-Market Deal of the Year (from $400 million up to $1 billion).

Curtis was one of several legal and professional firms advising Marquis Jet in the transaction, pursuant to which Marquis became part of the Berkshire Hathaway conglomerate of companies.The Curtis team was led by partner Timothy Barnes and included partners Jerrold Bregman, Valarie Hing, Evan Borenstein, Andy Seiden, Turner Smith; and associates Heather Elizabeth Saydah, Doug Glazer, Brad Doline, Peter Buenger and Josh Holt.
