Partner Simon Batifort Speaks at UNCITRAL Working Group III Academic Forum Meeting at Michigan Law School

On September 30, 2023, international arbitration partner Simon Batifort will speak at the plenary meeting of the Academic Forum of UNCITRAL Working III on the reform of investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS).

The meeting will feature leading academics and practitioners and focus on the ongoing process within UNCITRAL Working Group III, in which member states are developing multilateral reforms to ISDS.

Mr. Batifort will act as discussant on a panel dealing with topics such as corruption in ISDS, treaty-shopping, and the impact of foreign investors’ challenges to domestic regulations.
