Partners Klas Holm and Lawrence Goodman to speak at New York State Bar Association Seminar

New York-based partners Klas Holm and Lawrence Goodman will speak at joint seminar entitled “Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions,” co-hosted by the International Association of Lawyers and the New York State Bar Association’s International Section. The seminar will take place on Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9, 2017 in New York City.

Mr. Holm will speak on a panel entitled “Transaction Structure and Tax Issues,” alongside Pere M. Pons (Uria Menendez), Christoph R. Ramstein (Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law), and Sandra Hazan (Dentons). The session will be moderated by Pedro Pais De Almeida (Abreu Advogados) and James R. Shorter, Jr. (Shorter Law Offices).

Mr. Goodman will serve as the U.S. moderator for his panel, entitled “Share Purchase Agreement - Key Aspects and Contract Structure.” Panel co-chair Carl-Olof Bouveng (Advokatfirman Lindahl) will serve as the European Union moderator. Speakers include James L. Kelly (Winston & Strawn LLP), Frank Thiäner (Pöllath + Partners), and Alberto De Orleans e Braganca (Veirano Advogados).
