Simon Batifort to Teach International Investment Law and Arbitration Course at Brooklyn Law School

Starting in January 2018, senior associate Simon Batifort will co-teach a course on International Investment Law and Arbitration at Brooklyn Law School. The course will address the history of international investment law and arbitration, the main substantive protections contained in investment treaties (on expropriation, fair and equitable treatment, national and MFN treatment, etc.), and the jurisdictional requirements for submitting an investor-State dispute to an international tribunal constituted under an investment treaty.
