International Arbitration Practice

Ricardo Mier y Teran has advised on proceedings conducted under International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Inter-American Commercial Arbitration Commission (IACAC) and Centro de Arbitraje de México (CAM) rules, including proceedings related to oil and gas, shareholder disputes, and energy and construction industries. He also has experience advising clients on the enforcement of arbitral awards.

Corporate and Finance

Mr. Mier y Teran also has extensive experience in representing corporate clients, governments and state-owned entities in cross-border joint ventures and project development transactions, including the structuring and development of international public tenders and project finance for oil and gas, energy and general infrastructure projects.

Mr. Mier y Teran has worked at Curtis' New York and Washington, D.C. offices. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mier y Teran clerked for a Supreme Court Justice and a Federal Judge in Mexico.
