On August 25th, Borzu Sabahi, a partner in Curtis' Washington, D.C. office, spoke on the topic of Compensation, Damages and Valuation in Investment Arbitration at Athens PIL and ELSA Athens' 6th Annual Online Summer Law School on International Investment Law.
This online event brought together 51 students from countries from all over the world, including Germany, Italy, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Georgia, Latvia, Uruguay, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Uruguay, Iran, the Russian Federation, Malaysia, Nepal, India, Portugal and the Slovak Republic. It featured an intensive six-day academic program with a total of 30 hours of interactive lectures by distinguished scholars and practitioners, including two specialized Skills Training Workshops, one of which was conducted under the aegis of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, Young & International (ICDR Y&I).
