Partner Elisa Botero Speaks in Debate Hosted by Third Commission of the Colombian Senate

Partner Elisa Botero participated in an ISDS virtual debate entitled, "How can Colombia avoid liability for 80 trillion pesos in investment claims?" organized by Senator Emma Claudia Castellanos and hosted by the Third Commission of the Colombian Senate on November 19, 2020. The debate focused on what Colombia can do to mitigate the risk of new disputes in the context of a rising number of investor claims, and strategies for diminishing the state's liability in 16 ongoing disputes.
