What is the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA)?

The London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) offers international arbitration services to businesses and people around the world. Headquartered in London, England, the LCIA provides for the administration of arbitration and other ADR proceedings (including mediation), regardless of the location and under any system of law. Its focus is on the provision of arbitral tribunals for the benefit of businesses, with London as the seat of the arbitration unless otherwise specified in the underlying contract. The LCIA also has access to some of the world’s most experienced arbitrators, mediators, and experts.

What are LCIA rules?

The London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) Rules cover everything from the form of request for arbitration made by an interested party to the assignment of arbitration costs. They also cover the selection of arbitrators (or a panel of arbitrators), the conduct of the arbitration itself, and the form any resulting decision will take.
